Background
We work to make both our website and the service at the clinic accessible, on the principle that everyone is entitled to receive dental care with dignity, independence and equality.
Accessibility here is built into the site's own code. We do not use a third-party accessibility overlay or widget, because such components do not replace building accessibly and can interfere with assistive technology.
Standard and legislation
The site is built to follow WCAG 2.1 Level AA, which underpins the Israeli standard IS 5568.
Accessibility work follows the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments to Service) Regulations, 2013.
How accessibility is implemented on this site
- Full keyboard navigation, with no mouse required
- A skip link to the main content at the top of every page
- Clear visual focus indication when navigating by keyboard
- Alternative text on every image
- A semantic, hierarchical heading structure that supports screen-reader navigation
- ARIA labelling on menus, buttons and navigation regions
- Escape closes menus, and focus is trapped inside the mobile menu
- Forms with associated labels and written error messages
- Correct language and writing direction (RTL/LTR) in each language edition
- Animation automatically reduced for anyone who has set a reduced-motion preference in their operating system
- Touch targets of at least 44 pixels on mobile devices
- A layout that adapts to any screen size without horizontal scrolling
- The site is available in five languages: Hebrew, English, Arabic, Ukrainian and French
Browser and assistive technology compatibility
The site is built on standard web technologies and has been tested in current versions of Chrome, on desktop and mobile. It is expected to work correctly in current versions of Firefox, Safari and Edge.
Systematic testing with screen reader software has not yet been carried out. If you use a screen reader and encounter a difficulty, we would be grateful if you told us — reports like that are the fastest way for us to find and fix problems.
Accessibility of the clinic
The clinic is at 45 Trumpeldor Boulevard, Ziv Center, Haifa.
There is a car park at the building, and the clinic is reached by lift, so no stairs are involved.
If there is a particular adjustment that would make your visit easier, please call us on +972-52-790-3717 before you come. We will do our best to prepare accordingly.

Known limitations
We would rather state the limitations we are aware of plainly:
- Image alternative text is written in Hebrew, including in the other language editions of the site
- The legal documents on this site — the accessibility statement and the privacy policy — are available in Hebrew and English only
- External services linked from the site — WhatsApp, Waze, Google Maps, Facebook and Instagram — are outside our control, and their accessibility is a matter for their operators
- No full accessibility survey by a licensed accessibility consultant has been carried out yet
Clarification
We put continuous effort into improving accessibility, and even so there may be components or content on the site that are not yet fully accessible.
If you run into any difficulty — on the site or at the clinic — we genuinely want to hear about it. Tell us which page or service was involved and what the problem was, and we will deal with it promptly.
